Carlos Garcia de las Bayonas [year 2018 biographical note]
Graduated in Humanities (with a mention in History) by the Deusto University of Bilbao, Spain. He is currently doing a master’s degree on cultural heritage management in the Complutense University of Madrid, where he became one of the founding members of the ESACH Madrid group. After a short stay in Peru, he became interested in intangible heritage management and decided to collaborate with the Atlas of Andalusian Intangible Heritage project promoted by the Andalusian Historical Heritage Institute in Seville. His main research interests are the use of (intangible) heritage as a political tool, social participation in heritage safeguarding and cultural heritage enhancement.
